Midtown Work Dinner & Drinks
There’s nothing worse than sitting in your office all day working your 9 to 5, to then have your boss ask for the impossible task… get them a reservation, for a large group, for a last minute business dinner. Here are some of the best restaurants and surrounding bars if you want to impress your colleagues!
Click on each location and it will take you right to our TikTok review or to the restaurant's website so you can see what to get!
Midtown
Monkey Bar (E 54th Street)
We love Monkey Bar because the Hogsalt group took over the kitchen (4 Charles, Au Cheval team) so the food is really good. The vibes are also amazing and feel like old school New York because the restaurant has been around since the early 1920s. What to get: Signature Burger, french dip, steak + sides (they’re known for their bacon, creamed spinach).
Quality Bistro (W 55th Street)
What to get: The butter service, Moroccan chicken, french onion soup, corn creme brulee, steak, escargot.
Zou Zou’s (Manhattan West)
This place is owned by the same team as Don Angie and Quality Bistro above, it’s mediterranean but they focus on large plates for sharing. What to get: The duck borek is sick, dips to share (we got all 5), leg of lamb if you’re feeling crazy and the fried chicken which comes with the best bread, and OMG the desserts are WOW do not miss.
Ci Siamo (Manhattan West)
This is very close to Zou Zou’s, but it’s Danny Meyer of Union Square Hospitality so you will get a very elevated experience. Think nice pastas and a whole steak which was amazing and many tasty breads/veggies to pair in a beautiful space. What to get: Start with the onion tart, get the clams, pasta alla gricia, crab cavatelli, steak, and bomboloni for dessert.
Keens Steakhouse (W 36th St)
Go here if you want that classic old New York steakhouse vibe. What to get: Their signature lamb mutton chop, t-bone steak, all the classic steakhouse sides, and their desserts are great - get the sundae and key lime pie.

Cote (W 22nd St)
Is always fun for big group, white glove service and Michelin-starred, Korean steakhouse. What to get: Everyone should get the butcher’s feast, but then also order the bacon, wedge salad, kimchi wagyu paella. They also have Caviar service if you’re looking to make a good impression!
Oceans (Gramercy/Union Square)
Spacious and beautiful seafood restaurant. Great for business dinners because they have a few private areas. What to get: Alaskan king crab, whole fish sashimi, you can’t go wrong with any of their sushi rolls, farmers market salad, black cod, short rib.
Zaytinya (Nomad)
This is from chef, Jose Andreas and is located in the Nomad Ritz-Carlton. What to get: halloumi, soujouk pide, and greek yogurt with apricots for dessert.
Oiji Mi (W 19th St)
This is a $135, per person Korean tasting menu. You can order a la cart, but we did the tasting and loved it. Top tasting bites were the bo ssam, oiji bowl, wagyu galbi, donuts, and bingsu.
