Scalloped Potatoes

 

So many request for recipes in our recent story asking what you want to see in 2021! Here are some perfect scalloped potatoes.

Method

  • thinly slice peeled Yukon gold potatoes - we used a mandolin slicer

  • prepare cream sauce with half heavy cream and half whole milk, thyme, crushed garlic cloves, nutmeg, salt and pepper and any other fresh herbs you’d like - heat over low heat for about 10 minutes

  • layer potatoes salting, peppering, and added gruyere cheese every few levels

  • once halfway layered add half of cream mixture and repeat

  • top with more gruyere bake covered for 30 minutes and uncovered for 20 at 400 degrees

Eat as a side dish or main these are so good!
