Pumpkin Spiced Brown Butter

 

Pumpkin spiced brown butter recipe!
Brought back some bread from @tartinebakery in San Francisco and had to elevate it with this insane butter. No exact measurements for this recipe but feel free to add whatever you want to make it tasty.

Method

  • we used half grass fed butter and half regular because we didn’t have a ton of grass fed, use as much butter as you’d like to make

  • toast over medium heat for 5-8 mins until golden

  • transfer over an ice bath to cool the butter and begin whisking

  • add a pinch of salt and pumpkin spice seasoning, we used @spiceology

  • be sure not to overwhisk and chill but if it gets too cold just run warm water outside of the bowl

  • toast your sourdough and finish with flakey salt!
