Ultimate Italy Guide
We visited Italy a few times recently and here is everything we did including the places we visited, our tips for Italy, how long to stay in each city, and of course what we ate! Places we visited: Tuscany, Colle di Val, Rome, Florence, Bologna, Parma, Siena, San Gimignano, and Naples.
Top Fried Chicken NYC
We are HUGE fans of a delicious piece of fried chicken (bone-in specifically) so we took it upon ourselves to curate a top bone-in fried chicken list of NYC. These are our opinions and know there are many delicious places but we hope this lists inspires you to try a new spot or make a trip to Harlem for our #1 chicken!
Disclaimer: this was not an easy list to make and took us almost a year to eat all the chicken…
Steak Frites with Cowboy Butter
We love a good medium rare steak and pairing it with crispy fries and a homemade cowboy butter for dipping makes it even better.
Marry Me Chicken Orzo
Everyone is always raving about Marry Me pasta, a creamy sundried tomato dish loaded with flavor so we're switching it up with a little orzo.
Orecchiette with Sausage and Broccoli Rabe
This is the perfect pasta dish, Orecchiette with Sausage and Broccoli Rabe. It comes together quickly in one pot and we think you’ll love it.
Chicken Marsala
One of our mom’s favorite dishes is chicken marsala so whenever we’d go out for Italian food we always got it. The best part is when they pour the mushroom sauce all over the pasta so that’s exactly how we enjoyed this recipe. Hope it brings comfort to you and your home :)
French Dip Sandwich
Our all time favorite restaurant in NYC is 4 Charles Prime Rib and they make our number 1 burger in the city but sometimes we like their french dip sandwich even more. Here’s our attempt at recreating it a the perfect beef au jus for dipping.
Lasagna Alla Norma
Lasagna meets eggplant parmesan, this is the perfect all in one meal with gooey melty cheese, simple sauce, and tons of fresh basil.
